How to Help

Have you liked what you have seen or read?  Thank you for your interest in helping FYDe.  There are a few ways you can lend a hand:

Funding Agencies
Thank you for your consideration of FYDe!  If you are promoting new opportunities or have questions about our current applications, please contact us.  In Uganda, warufubenjamin@gmail.com or justusahimbisibwe@gmail.com.  +256 702010987.  In USA, hayleywhite5@gmail.com.  +1 303 913 7432.

Volunteer
Come volunteer with us, or simply come for a visit.  We have worked with 2 former and 1 current U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer as well as multiple USAID and BTC staff.  We are familiar with the personal and professional needs of volunteers—contact us about specific, custom-tailored volunteer opportunities.

Take a Tour
Are you in Uganda?  Before or after taking a tour of the magnificent Queen Elizabeth National Park, stop by Kataara Village to take our youth-run Agro-Tour!  Learn about the local culture and lifestyle, medicinal plants, exotic birds, and how we are using bees to protect crops from elephants.  It is a 2-3 hour tour, with some mildly steep slopes.  Bring water!  The cost is $8 per person, groups minimum 4 people.  Call +256 702010987 to make a reservation!

Donate
We do not currently have non-profit status in countries like the U.S. and are not set up to receive internet donations.  We do have our account at Stanbic Bank, Ishaka Branch and can accept donations through money transfer via Western Union or MoneyGram.  Our local friends can donate in person, at our offices, or Mobile Money.  We are willing and able to share with any donors our accountability procedures.  If you feel compelled to donate, any little bit counts for our youth, farmers, and beekeepers!

Share Ideas
Do you have any great ideas for us?  Have you come across any research or articles that you think may help us?  Have similar projects or CBOs been in the news?  Let us know!

Tell a Friend!
At FYDe, we think that the work we do is progressive and pretty interesting.  We see ourselves as part of an international network of information sharing among like-minded people and organizations.  Please share our projects with others!
